I’ve had acid reflux for a year and I sort of forgot about taking my meds. So I am going to go back to DR. and try to get back on this. What Acid reflux medicine do you recommend?

The best for you would recommend protonix protonix have acid reflux also protonix works like charm used to be on different medication called nexium and that did not help protonix have acid reflux also protonix works like charm used to be different for me.

Get advice form your Dr.
Protonix - 1 a day.
Avoid Tomatoes, spicy and greasy foods.
Cut down of coffee if you have a lot.
Eat early suppers.

If you try Protonix or Nexium I hope you have good insurance, they are expensive! If you don’t have insurance, your best bet would be Prilosec OTC.
