      Drinking milk can help sometimes. Also, stay away from spicy foods, alcohol or carbonated beverages. Don’t lie down either. Stay sitting up and try to wear loose-fitting clothes. If you want to take an at home painkiller, try something with acetaminophen instead of aspirin or ibuprofen. Those can make it worse. Hope this helps! Try not to eat too much before bedtime, too.
