Is reoccurring sore throat and cough a sign of acid reflux?

I have had reoccurring sore throat followed by a cough every month for like the past four months, and here lately, chest pain on my left side. the doctor has mentioned i might have acid reflux in the past when i was vomiting at random times, but that has stopped for a while now. i know all of this is signs of acid reflux, but my case is weird and everyone is different. would mild acid reflux cause me to have a sore throat over and over??

An endoscopy to start running some kind of medication coughing is he should be treated properly bc of our lovely friend acid reflux have done an.
