Is it possible to get rid of Acid Reflux?

I’ve had acid reflux for awhile but it isn’t that bad. I’ve been taking medicine for it. I recently learned that acid reflux can damage your vocal chords, and i love to sing and perform. Is there anyway i can get rid of acid reflux?

      Apart from a less acid diet, smaller meals more often, and medicine I don’t know of any way to get rid of it. Take stomach remedies that also contain an alginate to help re-line any acid-burned surfaces. (Gaviscon, Rennie Duo etc.). Take Omeprazole or Zantac to supress acid production. Ask the doctor if you have a Helicobacter pylorii infection (common cause of inflammation and ulcers.)
