Ihear apples are good for acid reflux, are there a certain kind ? what other foods will help, for belching?

I hear baking soda and warm water helps, but I found this website that states 2 foods will cure acid reflux but you must pay to download the information. Does anybody know this secret? My wife has spats of uncontrolable belching and bloating and O.T.C medications dont work. Someone please help!!
