I have acid reflux disease. Would tomato sauce give me an acid reflux episode?

I had spaghetti and tomato sauce for dinner and I still feel sick. I’m having a lot of acid reflux episodes (where you throw up in your mouth and it burns your chest and throat) and I don’t know what triggered them.

The morning and buy some acid inhibitors tagamet is high in citric acid should see doctor or go to the morning and never have reflux anymore good luck.

For sure would stay away from same with the production of those things you need to stay away from tomato sauce ketchup is ok believe or not good but for sure would stay away from tomato sauce ketchup.

I have had acid reflux for several years. I was treating it with acid reducer at night. I ended up in the hospital for something else, and they did upper and lower gi’s. I was diagnosed with Barrett’s Disease. That is from so much acid burning my esophagus that the lining now has the same cells as my stomach. It is precancerous and I will go in tomorrow to find out if I have cancer. The dr. has had me on Omeprazole 20mg every day in A M. Prilosec OTC is the same thing. That is what I was originally prescribed, but I thought I could do it cheaper. Take care f yourself. A simple thing like indigestion, left untreated, can kill you.

You are to avoid such package foods, which contain preservatives like acetic and citric acid. Also to avoid fried foods.
