How long does acid reflux last?
January 1st, 2012 | by admin | asked:
I think I have acid reflux disease because I have been getting excruciating pains in my stomach and chest from drinking things like coffee. The pain is so severe right now that it feels like an intense heart attack. I am just wondering how long the symptoms will last. Also, is it normal for it to be so painful and has anyone else had this problem?
Its been going on for several hours now and I have been coughing up acid and it is very intense.

If you are getting excruciating pains in your stomach, then you might have ulcers. You should see a doctor.
Also, drink more water. It sounds like you might have a diet full of acidic foods. You need to balance your pH.
