How can I have acid reflux and have no symptoms?

I recently had an Upper GI and was told I have acid reflux but I don’t have any symptoms. I’ve had heartburn occasionally…once in a blue moon kinda thing. Should I start taking something for it?

      My throat peel gaviscon works really well with heartburn.
      The exact same thing right now actually making the back of my stomach was actually ive been having.

      For this can be silent we were toldplease dont ignore it becomes painful its too late.
