If you have acid reflux you are dealing with a very potentially serious situation. You need to worry more about your stomach and esophagus.
These are the foods that generally cause problems

      citrus fruits
      chocolate
drinks with caffeine such as coffee or soda
      fatty and fried foods
      garlic and onions
      peppermint
      spicy foods
tomato-based foods such as spaghetti sauce, chili and pizza

And the big plus that you need is medication to help control this problem, if your doctor has not prescribed anything yet, then change doctors. This is a serious problem and needs to have time to heal inside. If this is eroding your teeth, you can only imagine what it is doing to the soft tissue in your throat and esophagus.
